At present we are pleased to say that all external Associations, Guilds and Insurance Companies approve all of our courses. The list of approvals include:- Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT), Association of Reflexologists (AoR), Independent Professional Therapists International (IPTI), Embody (CThA), The General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC). Continuing Professional Development credits are also available.
All tutors run their own successful Complementary Therapy Practices which they believe enhances the training offered by Zodiac enabling them to bring up to date experiences into the learning environment. They have advised the media on many occasions and have appeared on radio and television for HTV and the BBC. Zodiac tutors are regularly asked to lecture on complementary therapies and have addressed audiences in most South Wales hospitals, Cardiff University, Schools, Cancer Centres (including being on the syllabus for Breast Check Wales), and many others. Bridgette is qualified in various complementary therapies and has a lot of experience in aromatherapy and reflexology. Bridgette has carried out advanced training in aromatherapy and reflexology which meet the criteria to become a full member with the International Federation of Professional Aromatherapists and Association of Reflexologists. Bridgette has undergone advanced training at the Royal Marsden Hospital in London regarding the use of essential oils for cancer patients and for pain management in a cancer care environment . She has been involved in aromatherapy for over 20 years and runs a successful practice in Gorseinon. Zodiac are delighted David has been visiting Swansea to deliver his exciting talks and workshops. David is an expert in his field and in 1992, David gained a First Class Honours Degree in Chemistry from the University of Strathclyde, specialising in biological and medicinal chemistry. He gained a PhD in organic chemistry in 1995 from the same University. From 1995 until 1998, he worked as a scientist in one of the world's largest pharmaceutical companies near Manchester in the UK. From 1998 to 1999 he worked as a change agent for the same company. During this time he also served as an athletics coach of Sale Harriers in Manchester as well as the Manager of the Junior Men's Team inspiring them to three successive UK championship finals. He left the pharmaceutical industry and athletics coaching in 1999 and returned to Scotland. In 2000, he co-founded Spirit Aid Foundation, an international relief charity helping children whose lives had been affected by war and poverty. In 2002, as a Director of Spirit Aid, he helped produce a 9 day, 24 event festival of peace in Glasgow. He served as a Director of Spirit Aid until the end of 2002. From 2004 until 2005 he taught chemistry and ecology at James Watt College of Further and Higher Education and tutored chemistry at the University of Glasgow. In 2005, he self published his first book, 'It's the Thought That Counts', which was published by Hay House in 2006. In 2007, Hay House published his second book, 'Destiny vs Free Will' and his third book, 'How Your Mind Can Heal Your Body' was published by Hay House in the USA on the 1st February 2009. David's new book 'Why Kindness is Good For You' is due to be available for sale in February 2010. David will be back in 2010 delivering his exciting talks and workshops in Swansea.
Carole will be teaching our counselling module as part of our Hypnotherapy Diploma Course. Carole has worked in the social care sector for many years, experience of working with all ages and abilities, including people with mental health issues. She trained as a social worker, preferred the therapeutic work and so trained as a counsellor. Her qualifications: Dip. Sw, MSc(Econ), Dip. Co. (MBACP) Dip. Hyp (GHR Reg). Jane started out as a reflexologist in 1998 and is now TV’s celebrity Foot Reader, is bringing her fascinating seminar series to Swansea. Jane will demonstrate how to ‘read’ personality traits in feet and the seminar will offer reflexologists a way to enhance their knowledge, and will give other ‘students’ the opportunity to learn an unusual skill that makes them appear to be psychic. The success of Jane’s workshops has meant that she has been incredibly busy not just here in the UK but has also worked in the USA, United Arab Emirates, Ireland and Australia with a return trip being planned to Australia later on this year and has made several TV appearances. In addition, Jane is a regular on regional radio stations and has had various articles in such publications as “The Daily Mail”, “Top Sante”, “New Woman” and most recently foot reading was listed in the “Sunday Times” Top Ten Trends for 2008. Emma Jones aka 'Healthy Jones'
Emma Jones's interest in natural medicine came about when she became ill in 1994. This was a start of an inspiring journey back to health. She realised that being ill was her body's way of telling her to change her lifestyle. Since 1996, Emma has trained and worked in natural health and is now an experienced practitioner of naturopathic medicine. As well as running healthy jones, Emma helped establish one of the first naturopathic training colleges in Dublin and was the founder of the first naturopathic training college in Wales and Zodiac are delighted to have Emma as part of their team. Emma teaches the Naturopathic Nutrition Course currently in Cardiff and Swansea. Emma has also appeared on BBC Radio Wales as a natural health expert. Emma's aim is to encourage people to become conscious of their daily lifestyle choices and to teach people how to achieve health without fad diets, pharmaceuticals and excessive exercise. She believes the closer we come to nature, the closer we come to true well being.

Catherine is an integrative counsellor who runs a private practice using various locations in Swansea including ‘Wholly Well’. She started off her career as a teacher, before building an interest in psychology, which in turn led her to counselling. She taught counselling skills for a number of years with a private company, and ran parenting courses for Social Services. At present she is focussing mainly on counselling, working mainly with clients with substance misuse issues, but also with depression, anxiety and relationship difficulties. Catherine teaches the Counselling module also for Zodiac’s clinical hypnotherapy course.
Diana Brook is a Holistic Health Practitioner and Teacher who is passionate about natural health and healing. Alison has worked in south, mid and north Wales as well as in Cheshire at senior levels within the NHS, mostly developing services for children, families and communities.
