First Aid Course
This is a First Aid Course which is taught over one day in association with The British Red Cross which will be valid for three years.
There is nothing more frightening than a person collapsing in front of you, especially if you do not know what to do ! It is sensible to have some knowledge of first aid. This course is run by The British Red Cross and introduces you to basic first aid which the Complementary Therapist can do if an incident occurs whether waiting for an ambulance or keeping the client calm. As a Therapist it is imperative that you ensure the safety of your client and this course will cover various issues which ensure that should an incident occur you will be confident to deal with it:-

- Unconscious casualty
- Epilepsy
- Diabetes
Training at Wholly Well in February 2008 - Asthma
- CPR
