Diploma in Reflexology

Duration - 9 months

Level 3 which includes all  7 unit  modules which are required by the Association of Reflexologists for full membership. At present Level 3 is the highest Nationally recognised qualification in Reflexology however, due to the extra modules covered throughout this course if there were higher levels this would be equivalent to Level 4/5.  We are currently the only College offering the nationally recognised accredited 7 unit module Reflexology Diploma in Wales allowing full membership to Association of Reflexologists

The College prides themselves on offering first class tuition to students offering true career options.  The students can rest assured that the courses offered by us are externally accredited.  The Diploma in Reflexology is accredited by ABC Awards and Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT) and/or approved by all other major Association/Organisations. ABC Awards is one of the largest vocational awarding bodies in the UK with an established reputation for quality and customer service.

Graduates of this course will be eligible to register with the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC). For more information see www.cnhc.org.uk.

To have external accreditation by an organisation like ABC Awards & FHT means that the student has the additional comfort knowing that the course is being regulated by a completely independent party, ensuring the standards of teaching and required levels of learning are being upheld on an ongoing basis, and, as with all good Organisations and Professional Bodies, there is an independent complaints procedure in place.

Zodiac Complementary Therapy Training & West Shires School of Reflexology are accredited Centres with  ABC Awards and offer the Level 3  Diploma in Reflexology. This Diploma is accepted by the Association of Reflexologists for full membership.  Upon completion of the course you will receive a Reflexology Diploma qualification of the highest level and also a separate externally accredited Anatomy, Physiology  & Pathology Diploma at no extra cost.

The Diploma in Reflexology has been produced to satisfy a need for a well-structured vocationally-related qualification for practising reflexologists.  Public interest in complementary therapies and reflexology in particular, is growing and the demand for reflexology in the workplace continues to grow rapidly as companies are increasingly aware of the problems caused by stress at work.  The NHS is increasingly aware of the effectiveness of reflexology in some areas of patient care.  As a result, reflexologists are being employed or contracted into NHS hospitals and GP Surgeries.  This qualification is designed principally to lead directly into employment as a reflexologist.  It will also enable progression to a First Degree in Health Sciences in a number of Higher Education Programmes in UK Universities.  There are post graduate programmes available for which this qualification is a pre-requisite.

The AoR plays a key role in the development and continual improvement of standards and  training and has earned a respected international reputation. To become a Member of the Association of Reflexologists is deemed to be the mark of a true professional. If you are researching various courses and qualifications you may wish to check if the qualification on offer can lead to membership of the AoR.  Upon completion of our Reflexology Diploma Course a student will be automatically upgraded to be a full member of the AoR and be able to use the letters 'MAR' after their name.

The ABC Awards qualification is endorsed by the AoR and is government approved it is also on the National Qualifications Framework meaning that the qualification is nationally recognised by the government and employers. Students can expect to learn in a warm and friendly environment supported by dedicated and qualified tutors who share the same passion for reflexology as their students.  The course is challenging and students are guided and inspired by a highly experienced staff team which ensures that students have the best possible experience.
